the mission

Inspire

Women to grow in their relationship with God by making a commitment to  read His Word daily.

Reveal

To women that learning the Word of God can change their life, marriage, family, and most importantly their hearts.

Transform

Women to become all God has created them to be and inspire other women to do the same.

I love those who love me; and those who diligently seek me will find me.
— Proverbs 8:17

the story

In life we often struggle finding time for ourselves and spending time with God. We may get consumed with pleasing others, get lost in bad relationships, sometimes find ourselves struggling in our marriages, and the list goes on and on.  A few years ago after speaking my very first message titled “Conditions of the Heart” God began to show me that I wasn't alone and that there were other women; like myself who desired to know and grow in His word but simply didn’t know where to start. It was then He revealed to me a need to create a place where women can come and feel comfortable learning His Word. I was hesitant, insecure, and doubted if I was qualified for such a purpose nor did I know where to start. I knew if it was truly God that He would open the doors and direct my steps.

For the next few years God isolated me to the point where I withdrew from friends, environments, and even ministries! I just focused on building an intimate relationship with Him and it was in that isolated place He began to prepare me and show me that all my struggles, past hurt, and mistakes were not in vain but for this purpose. This community was created for women to do 3 things; read God’s Word in a practical and intimate way, learn God's word and use it to change the insecurities, doubt, or even the pain tucked away in their hearts. Lastly I want to see the lives and hearts of women transformed when we apply it to our everyday lives and become all God purposed us to be.

"My hope is that through this community you desire to make God your first love and get all He has for you!"

Struggling for years as a single mother making bad choices in life, finances, and failed relationships she married the love of her life and best friend in 2012. Happy to finally say "I do" after 8 long years she did what a lot of women do when not fully healed from their past she brought along a contaminated heart filled with deeply rooted issues, past regrets, and a lot of baggage in what was supposed to be a new season of her life. One day by God’s grace she stopped seeking things from the world and advice from others to fix her issues and allowed God to change her heart and restore her marriage. She loves to share her journey with women  and revealing to them the power of knowing God's Word and using it to change every part of their lives.

Brandee Johnson is a graduate of Limestone College with a degree in Business Management; earning her degree as a single mother her focus has always been to never settle for less. Heart For God University is...

A community for women to come together to do 3 things:

• Read God's Word

• Learn God's Word

• Apply God's Word to their everyday lives
